Privacy policy
Short version: the calculator runs in your browser, we do not have accounts, and we do not sell anything about you.

What we collect from the calculator
Nothing. Wall measurements, board choices, waste factors and prices are held in your browser's memory while the page is open. They are never sent to us, never stored on a server, and disappear when you close the tab. There is no account, no email capture and no saved project.
Cookies and local storage
We do not set cookies for the calculator. The site does not write to local storage. If we introduce analytics later, this page will say so before it goes live, and it will be cookie-free analytics.
Affiliate links
Shopping list buttons link to retailers such as Amazon, Home Depot and B&Q. Those links carry a tracking parameter so the retailer can credit a referral to us. Once you click, you are on the retailer's site and their privacy policy applies — including their own cookies. We never receive your name, address, payment details or what you bought.
Server logs
Like every website, our hosting provider records basic technical logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — to keep the site online and stop abuse. These logs are not used to build profiles and are not combined with any other data.
If you email us, we keep your message and address only as long as needed to answer it. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share the address with anyone else.
Your rights
Because we hold no account data, there is usually nothing to export or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence removed, ask and it will be deleted. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to access, correct or object to processing — email us and we will help.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the home page for at least two weeks.
